Cherry Vanilla Granola

Cherry Vanilla Granola

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup canola oil
  • 4 T. coconut sugar (or brown sugar, but it will alter the taste)
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 4 cups gluten free oats (or regular)
  • 1 cup flaxmeal
  • 1 cup dried cherries
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
  2. Mix the first 4 ingredients in a large bowl.
  3. Add the oats and flaxmeal and stir to coat well.
  4. Bake for 15 minutes, stir, bake for 10 minutes.
  5. Add cherries and seeds and bake for 5 minutes.
  6. Cool and store covered in refrigerator.
