BBQ Shredded Pork Sandwiches

Ingredients:

  • 3 lb. pork roast
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 16 oz. allowable barbeque sauce
  • 3-4 T. honey
  • Allowable sandwich buns

Directions:

  1. Trim fat off of pork roast. Then broil each side 3-4 minutes.
  2. Place in crockpot.
  3. Place chopped onion over meat.
  4. Pour barbeque sauce over meat.
  5. Add honey to crockpot.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 4 hours. Do not remove lid until end of cooking time.
  7. When done cooking, place meat on cutting board.
  8. Take two forks and shred the meat.
  9. Return to sauce in crockpot and stir around.
  10. Place on buns and serve.
