Quinoa For Breakfast
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup quinoa
- 1 cup water
- 1 T. coconut sugar (or brown sugar)
- 2 tsp. 100% pure maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 cup golden raisins (or dark raisins)
- Slices of strawberries and bananas
Directions:
- Thoroughly rinse the quinoa in a strainer.
- In a pan, combine the rinsed quinoa, water, coconut sugar, syrup and cinnamon.
- Bring to boil, cover, reduce heat to low, and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Add raisins and simmer an additional 5 minutes,
- Place quinoa in bowls and top with strawberries and bananas.
