It’s very rare that I purchase dairy free, factory made, frozen treats at the store. But I made the exception to my rule during my last trip to Trader Joe’s and bought this Mango Sorbet.
This sorbet is creamy, smooth, refreshing and satisfying. It hit the spot on a hot day; on a busy day with no time to prepare food. Even if you are not crazy about mango, I bet you would like this dreamy treat!
It cost $4.49 for a smidge more than a quart. Ingredients are mango, water, cane sugar (not vegan), glucose syrup (from corn), guar gum, xanthan gum, citric acid and beta carotene. Naturally dairy free, it is also soy free, gluten free, cholesterol free and fat free. But there is no need to have food sensitivities to enjoy this sorbet. Anyone would love it!
Do they have other flavors, too?
They do not have other flavors of sorbet. But I did notice that they had a strawberry and chocolate ice cream made from coconut milk. The container was much smaller though for about the same price.
Looks great…wish I had a Trader Joes!
Well, that’s a bummer!
