Hummus

Hummus

Ingredients:

  • 1 can (15 oz..) chickpeas (or garbanzo beans) rinsed, soaked, drained and rinsed again
  • 4 T. lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 tsp. minced garlic
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 tsp. cumin
  • 1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper

Directions:

  1. Put all ingredients in a large food processor.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Store in refrigerator.
